Dr. Nawar Masarani graduated with a Diploma in Medicine from the University of Tishreen, Syria, in 1999. His dedication to surgical excellence led to additional certifications, including the Syrian Board in General Surgery (2005), the Syrian Board in Vascular Surgery (2010), and the Arab Board in Surgery (2016). In 2013, he achieved MRCSI, advancing to become a Fellow of both the European Board of Vascular Surgery (2021) and the Royal College of Surgeons in England (2022). Dr. Masarani is also on the specialist register in both the UK and Ireland.
Experience
With a career spanning multiple leading Irish hospitals, including Beaumont and Tallaght University, Dr. Masarani brings extensive expertise in vascular surgery. His contributions extend beyond clinical practice into academia and research, particularly in the evolving challenges of post-operative care in vascular health. Dr. Masarani has co-authored surgical handbooks for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and University College Dublin, ensuring his insights benefit the next generation of surgeons. His research portfolio includes critical studies on COVID-19’s impact on surgical practice, reflecting his commitment to advancing healthcare.
