Prof Peter Widdess-Walsh

Prof Widdess-Walsh has been a consultant neurologist for over 15 years. He specialises in seizures and epilepsy but also sees a wide variety of neurological disorders.

As well as being a Consultant Neurologist at Beacon Hospital, he is a consultant neurologist and epilepsy specialist at the National Neuroscience Centre at Beaumont Hospital.

Prof Widdess-Walsh is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He trained in neurology and epilepsy at the Cleveland Clinic and is US Board Certified in Neurology, Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology.

Prof Widdess-Walsh has over 80 peer-reviewed publications in journals and books, principally on epilepsy, seizure semiology and clinical neurophysiology.
