Dr Matilde Mijares Zamuner

Dr Zamuner is a Consultant Endocrinologist. She sees adults with diabetes of every type, obesity and metabolic disorders, thyroid disease, PCOS and the wider range of hormone conditions that make up general endocrinology.

She has held a number of research and clinical roles, including a fellowship focused on monogenic forms of diabetes at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. She has published extensively as an author and co-author, with a focus on improving clinical approaches in endocrinology.

Dr Zamuner completed her Higher Specialist Training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition in Spain, where she received a grant from the Valencian Society of Endocrinology. Her training covered diabetes, obesity management and bariatric medicine, with a dedicated focus on improving patient outcomes through research-driven care.
