Dr Ferrufino Rivera finished his training in Respiratory Medicine in Spain in 2013, was awarded a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research.
Experience
Dr Eddy Ferrufino Rivera is a Consultant in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine at Beacon Hospital.
After completing his Master’s Degree, Dr Ferrufino Rivera gained particular experience in Non-invasive ventilation, Sleep Medicine, COPD, Asthma. He moved to Ireland in 2015 to work in a busy clinical position at Our Lady of Lourdes initially and has been working as a Respiratory Consultant at Beaumont Hospital since 2016.
During this time he has developed a particular interest in Sleep Medicine, non-invasive ventilation, maintaining interest in other complex respiratory pathologies. Dr Ferrufino Rivera joined the team at the new state-of-the-art Respiratory and GIM Unit in Beacon Hospital in 2020.
